Hallo Stephan ( Ambroxol),
wenn Du bitte hier nochmal das Originalfoto der Beschreibung von Hanns Oehme hier einsetzen könntest, ich habe es nicht digital, dann könnten wir genau vergleichen mit den Pflanzen, die für mich und einige andere dieser Beschreibung so nahe stehen, daß man eigentlich G. mucidum als bestehenden Namen durchaus anerkennen sollte, der dann der ältetse NAme für die Gruppe um G.glaucum und G.ferrarii wäre;
wer sich genauer darüber informieren will:
The other observing in the field has been made by the brothers ( allerdings ist BKS nicht die Abkürzung für einen Bruder sondern für meine Frau und mich)Schweizer, Germany. They stated like re-found Gymn. mucidum Piltz´s field number P 36a and several field numbers of Schweitzer after the proper study of the plants in the nature and in the culture and after the cooperation with the professor in the University in German Oldenburg, dr. Detlev Metzing, and they published the results in German journal Gymnos 1994.
Then we have Gymn. mucidum agreeing with the original description in the collections after long years. The Austrian gardener Hans Till had not agreed with it again and he tried in the Austrian Gymnocalycium 2003 to state the plants of the round of Gymn. capillaense like Gymn. mucidum and he has made with it only greater disorder. The description of Gymn. capillaense var. mucidum Till has appeared and we must hold this description for quite new taxon which has nothing to do with Gymn. mucidum Oehme at all.
